August 2021

Dad and I took a road trip to Muskegon to check out a couple museums.  The first one is the LST 393.  She was used to ferry men, vehicles and prisoners on and off the beaches of Normandy.  The displays on this ship are amazing.

This is a piece of art in the go around.

Silversides was our other stop.  I admire anyone who could live
on a sub and sleep over bombs.

These are my sister-in-laws.  We were able to get together for dinner one night while Mary was visiting from Florida

There has been so many fun events at Holiday Shores but this was my favorite event and into the night.  We had great house decorations and the best haunted golf cart path.  The night and the company was so much fun!!

I found one of my favorite restaurants, First Watch, in Livonia and I went from there to the Detroit Zoo .

Be still my heart

August was a good month.  I will check out the zoo in Lansing next.

RIG UPDATE:  Looks like I wont get the new rig until January.  They can deliver it to me in Florida. I will adjust my travel agenda and keep my fingers crossed.
