September 2021
I spent a couple days in Ludington at the Ludington House with the Blue Water RVers. The bed and breakfast I stayed at was very comfortable.
The first morning was fresh melon with greek yogurt and homemade granola and gluten free pancakes made with overnight oats and almond flour. The pancakes were not my favorite.
The second morning was fresh melon with lime juice and zest and a crust less quiche with poblano peppers, blueberry scone and bacon. This breakfast was much better.
The house and my room were beautiful. I love all the old details and the hot tub was a nice bonus.
I will always enjoy the sunsets in Ludington.
They never disappoint.
This is my overnight house guest, Mia. She was so good. She would not stop barking till I put her in bed with me. Then she got upset when I got up at 3 am and didn't go back to bed. She got over it and but was not happy about getting up at 8 am when my day started.
I enjoyed time with the ACF Flint/Saginaw Valley this month.
The meeting was held at the Frankenmuth Farmers Market. It was a great venue.
The food was prepared by AB Swanny Catering and it was really good. I am looking forward to the meeting in October before I head south.
Before dad left I took him to the Mott Culinary Institute.
The meal and service were perfect.
New Orleans Shrimp Po Boy and Woolworths Apple Dumpling. I also
had an amazing shrimp bisque.
