Now this was my kind of fun!

Lake Havasu City, AZ was GREAT!  I attended a fireworks expo with an Escapees HOP.

This was my first event with this group and it was great!  I was so proud of myself for making it though six days of boondocking and I had no issues with water or power.  The new rig worked great.  We had some windy days that kicked up a lot of dust and that had an effected my solar. I was so lucky to have a neighbor who gave me a lesson in how to ready my solar meter.  This was a great group and many are talking about coming back next year.  

I realized too late that I left my camera battery charger in the old coach, so all these photos were taken with my phone except for the one of the full moon.  I could not believe the colors and shapes these folks put up.

We seen this shape pop up a lot.



We took a boat ride on the lake and got great views of lighthouses that were replicas, including two from Michigan,  copper canyon and the London Bridge.

The London Bridge, over lake havasu, still bears scars from World War II, including bullet holes from German machine guns.

I don't know what possessed me to think this hike, SARA's CRACK was a good idea.
I made it though the crack (slot canyon) and then headed back to camp with 
a smaller group.
I am glad I attempted the hike because the views and the experience were worth 
every step.

After lake havasu I headed to Las Vegas to visit friends and pet sit while they went to visit family.  I had a ball with this little gem.

  October was a beautiful month to ride.  We took off for the day and headed to Mt. Scott.  We got to see lots of bison and had a huge burger. We flew to San Antonio to celebrate mile stone 60th birthday with friends from high school.  We had a great time eating, drinking and laughing. November was a beautiful month.  We made it out to the camp and Ken shot a doe.  It was a first for me.  I got to help gut a deer. This was our amazing Thanksgiving dinner. December was also busy.  We flew to Las Vegas to check an event off my bucket list.  I am a long time Eagles fan and we got to see them preform at the Spheer.  I could not have asked for a better venue.  The sound and the show were off the chart.  We didn't have enough time to do everything so that means we will head back there for a second trip. September Birthday - Building & Bikes

We celbrated this guy turning 61. This was our second Brizalian Steak House.  We only had the salad bar at the first one.  Next time I will know to hold out for the better cuts that came later after we were full. It sure has been HOT so the walks start early to beat the heat.  The wild life is getting easier to spot and so are the Christmas decorations. We had beautiful weather for this little project.  Bill Grey pre-fabbed the walls and roof.  It went together easy with the help of a long set of forks for the tractor. We had friends stop by on their way to SC from Las Vegas.  It was so great to visit as they start a new chapter in their lives. We ate some great food and stopped by the Oklahoma City National Memorial. It is always a fun ride to Eureka Sprinks, AR.  Our hosts were amazing and the rides were beautiful.  We were able to meet up with another couple and spent a day riding with them.  It was hot but beautiful. April started at the Arkansas Whiskey Fest. Ken had never been to anything like this. It was a well organized event with a lot of different beverages  to taste and good food to eat. John and Tammy have a beautiful back yard and the best fire pit. The big bike trip for Maywas the 5 State Run. We did the run last year and it rained and you can see by all the layers everyone has on it was rainy and cold this year.  Rain or shine the ride is always beautiful and the stops are fun also.  We already have a room booked for next year. A few pictures from home.   June is when the fun began.  I dropped Ember off at home in Texas on June 1st and I headed home.  I had a great plan to get home on Saturday, pack the rig on Sunday and head to Michigan on Monday.  That planned got changed when I got a wonderful case of food poisoning.
