Embers class had a field trip to the park and then off to see a play.  Georgetown has a lot of talent.  This time we seen Nate the Great.  It was nice to see so many parents attend.   I will be in OKC till June.  That is when I head to a rally in Greenville, OH.  Then I will take the rig back to Michigan for the summer and I will be back and forth between OKC and Michigan for campouts. Safe travels to all the snow birds heading back to Michigan. See ya soon!!

I love volunteering at the rally because you get to park early, before the hordes of people arrive.  This is our 13th year at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. Driving around Perry I found this beautiful old  cemetery. This was a new restaurant.  Great find in a small town. Crab Cakes Etouffee Found this on a corner in in front of the cemetery  The entertainment was GREAT this year. These are three of the four groups we had. I was freezing and did not get photos of the first group. I had a couple of cold rainy nights driving the golf cart. My winnings at the silent auction My first stop after the rally was in Montgomery, AL. I stayed at Montgomery KOA. They are working at upgrading an existing camp ground.  I will be coming back to this place.  I had an extra day and took in the sights. My first Harvest Hosts stop was The Simmons-Wright Company Store   in Toomsuba, MS.  This store and the grounds were a trip back in time. ...

Time for another adventure. It's been a long time since I took a plan trip.   I arrived back in Florida and a week later I was headed back to Oklahoma City. We did go out to eat a couple of times but mostly ate at home. Ken fired up the smoker and the food he cooked was amazing. Dad and I have always talked about taking a trip on the SunRail.   We met up with some friends and took the train from Poinciana to Winter Park. We walked around town and found a place for lunch.  I would do this trip again. I have seen the Cirque show before but Dad had never seen one. I loved it so I booked tickets and off we went. Dad loved it!! I am so glad I went to see it again because there were things that were new to me in this second show. It seems like February was over before it started. I am making so many great memories. I get the rig moving in March and head to a rally in Perry, GA  and then I head west. Thanks to all of you who post comments.   I am blessed...

Happy New Year 2023 is off to a great start!! Since my 40 year class reunion in August Ken and I have been talking and New Years we made it official.  Looks like I will be spending lots of time in          Oklahoma City.                     After New Years I went back to Texas for more kid fun. I also got to hang out with Andrea and the boys a couple of times. I love walking along the San Gabriel River in Georgetown.  I took Ember and her buddy out for a day of fun.   I think they were plotting to torture Nate when we got home. Time to hit the road and meet up with classmates at the casino. We had the best time with Genny and Jim.  We need to do this again soon!! It was back to OKC for a few days.  I went to the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit at the OKC Convention Center. It was very interesting. Ken's project he was finishing and we had time to walk around the land he hunts and s...
